Cunco will be the first runner for Frankel | Juddmonte

2.00 Newbury, Mdn, £10,000, 2yo, 6f 8yT

CUNCO (IRE) (Frankel (GB)">Frankel {GB}) has the honour of being the first runner to represent Juddmonte's icon, with Don Alberto Stable's January-foaled bay being out of the 2011 G1 Pretty Polly S. third Chrysanthemum (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}). Introduced by John Gosden in the second division of the maiden won by the Hannon stable's subsequent top-level performers Canford Cliffs (Ire) and Strong Suit (Rahy), he does have some speed in his pedigree with his third dam being the 1999 G3 Princess Margaret S. winner Saintly Speech.

2.10 Newmarket, Mdn, £7,000, 2yo, f, 6fT

ARABIAN HOPE (Distorted Humor) cost $550,000 at Keeneland September with good reason, as she is out of a half to the 2013 GI Starlet S. winner Streaming (Smart Strike). From the family of Rags To Riches (A.P. Indy), Jazil (Seeking the Gold), Casino Drive (Mineshaft) and Man of Iron (Giant's Causeway), Godolphin's bay is introduced against seven rivals by Saeed bin Suroor.

3.45 Newbury, Mdn, £10,000, 3yo, 7fT

CHESS MASTER (IRE) (Shamardal) bids to follow where his similarly pricey stablemate Firnas (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) led by winning impressively at Newmarket on Thursday evening and begin to justify his 1.7million guineas tag at Tattersalls October in 2014. Charlie Appleby brings back the son of the high-class sprinter Cassandra Go (Ire) (Indian Ridge {Ire}), and therefore a half-brother to the triple Group 1 winner Halfway To Heaven (Ire) (Pivotal {GB}) and MGSW Tickled Pink (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) after his debut third over this trip behind the subsequent G2 Royal Lodge S. third and G2 Dante S. fourth Muntazah (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) at Leicester in September.

4.15 Newbury, Mdn, £10,000, 3yo, 10f 6yT

NEW WORLD POWER (JPN) (Deep Impact {Jpn}) is an intriguing newcomer for Qatar Racing and Roger Varian, being a Northern Farm-bred son of the 2007 G1 Fillies' Mile heroine Listen (Ire) (Sadler's Wells). A full-brother to last year's G2 Shuka Sho Trial winner and G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup third Touching Speech (Jpn), he has a decent standard-setter to overcome in the Niarchos Family's Ulysses (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), a Sir Michael Stoute-trained son of the 2007 Epsom Oaks heroine Light Shift (Kingmambo) who was second at Leicester last month.
