G2 Coventry S. winner Rajasinghe (Ire) (Choisir {Aus}), who lost his unbeaten record when third in last week's G2 July S. under a three-pound penalty, could take in the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville on Aug. 20.
“It's all a bit up in the air at the moment,” said trainer Richard Spencer of the Rebel Racing-owned colt. “He has come out of his last race fine. We'll just see how he is over the next few weeks. I think Goodwood will probably come too soon. We could potentially go for the Morny. It is a Group 1 and that is the natural progression. I think we would want to step him up to seven furlongs by the end of the year, but we will keep him at six for the time being as he not short of pace as he has won a Coventry.”
