Monmouth to Expand Indoor Dining

The easing of restrictions on indoor dining throughout New Jersey beginning Friday, Sept. 4, Monmouth Park will expand its indoor dining on a limited capacity, pending N.J. Racing Commission approval. The expanded dining venues will include: The William Hill Sports Bar, the first floor grandstand in front of the video board, the Patio Terrace Teletheater and available reserved group rooms. Dining areas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Capacity for indoor dining will be restricted to 25% of the indoor dining area, as per Gov. Phil Murphy's Executive Order 183. Masks are required for entry to the racetrackand social distancing guidelines will be in effect. Outside food and drink are not permitted.

Additionally, a limited number of Kentucky Derby Day Picnic Party food and drink packages remain available for Saturday as Monmouth Park combines a day of live racing with simulcasting of the entire Kentucky Derby program from Churchill Downs. Any remaining Derby Day Picnic Party packages will be available on a first-come, first-served basis Saturday. Scheduled post time for the Kentucky Derby is 7:02 p.m.

Gates open on Friday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m., with simulcasting of the Kentucky Oaks card Friday, Sept. 4. First race post time for live racing Friday through Monday during the holiday weekend will be 12:50 p.m. Parking and admission remain free.

Monmouth Park is also offering guaranteed entry on Kentucky Derby Day for $10, which includes a $10 food voucher that patrons will receive upon entry. Free general admission on Kentucky Derby Day will be permitted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited in accordance with state regulations for capacity restrictions.
