Martin Mitchell, former Director of Bloodstock Sales at Tattersalls, has unveiled a new look at the December Sales, but he assures us that it's merely temporary. Currently sporting a snazzy moustache, he's well on his way to raising around £4,000 for men's health charities, but he's longing for next Thursday to arrive so he can return to being clean-shaven.
“I was persuaded to get involved in Movember in the pub much against my better judgement,” he confessed. “There are four of us in Newmarket trying to raise money together, including our team captain Jack Turnbull who is an assistant trainer to David Simcock.”
He added, “I hope I'll get to the £4,000 mark by the end of next week when the moustache will most definitely come off. I'm fed up with people telling me I look like Captain Mainwaring!”
