Off the mark over this course and distance Apr. 20, the bay earned valuable experience of black-type company when second to the subsequent G1 Prix du Jockey Club fourth Talismanic (GB) (Medaglia d'Oro) in the Listed Prix de l'Avre also over this trip at Saint-Cloud May 23. Settled in second throughout the early stages, he was committed by Olivier Peslier just before the quarter pole and when joined by Golden Valentine a furlong later kept finding to hold her at bay.
