The first reported foals for multiple group winner Lusail (Ire) have arrived, Al Shaqab Racing revealed on Friday.
A filly out of Evertogether (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}) was the initial arrival and was bred by Haras de Castillon. She is from the family of group performers Mind Of Madness (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}) and Dragon Pulse (Ire) (Kyllachy {GB}). SCEA des Prairies welcomed a filly out of War Story (Fr) (Sunday Break {Jpn}), who is a stakes producer.
Breeder Thomas Jeffroy said, “War Story's Lusail filly is splendid. Given the mare's previous production, Lusail has brought the desired attributes: substance, a strong physique, and good bone.”
The stakes winner and multiple group-placed Baileys Showgirl (Fr) (Sepoy {Aus}) foaled a filly at Haras des Trois Chapelles, while Shalfah (Fr) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), a daughter of Group 1 performer Rjwa (Ire) (Muhtathir {GB}), produced a filly, as well.
Also placed in the G1 St James's Palace Stakes and G1 Prix Jean Prat, the son of Mehmas (Ire) stands for €5,000 at Haras de Bouquetot in 2025.
