Tapestry | Racing Post

It has been a long time since 'TDN Rising Star' Tapestry (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) was in the public eye, but last year's G1 Yorkshire Oaks winner is back in the spotlight on Sunday as she belated starts her 2015 campaign in The Curragh's G2 Moyglare “Jewels” Blandford S. Ninth in the G1 Matron S. on this weekend at Leopardstown last September and 13th in the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp the following month after her career-best defeat of Taghrooda (GB) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) at York, it is significant that Susan Magnier's bay has been kept in training given her achievements.

After her latest easy four-length defeat of Tapestry's stable companion Easter (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in the G3 Dance Design Fillies S. over nine furlongs here Aug. 30, the Niarchos Family's Bocca Baciata (Ire) (Big Bad Bob {Ire}) is a serious contender, while last year's G1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Ribbons (GB) (Manduro {Ger}) needs to rebound from a disappointing sixth in the latest renewal of that Deauville contest over this trip Aug. 23. Lucy Wadham is a stranger to this type of race but her representative, Lady Tiana (GB) (Sir Percy {GB}), is more than worthy of her place in the line-up after her win in Haydock's G2 Lancashire Oaks over a mile and a half July 4.
