Jersey Town (Speightstown-Jersey Girl, by Belong to Me) will relocate from Darby Dan Farm in Kentucky to Road's End Farm near Abbotsford, British Columbia, beginning with the 2018 breeding season. He will stand for a fee of C$2,000.

In the top three in 17 of his 21 career starts for owner/breeder Charles Fipke, Jersey Town scored the major victory of his career in the 2010 GI Cigar Mile H. before adding a smooth defeat of Classic winner Shackleford (Forestry) in the GII Kelso H. the following season. He amassed earnings of $819,668.

Jersey Town is the sire of Hillsdale S. winner Jersey Justice and three additional black-type performers, including Bee Jersey, runner-up in this year's G3 UAE 2000 Guineas and a recent allowance winner at Keeneland.

“We are very excited about bringing a horse of Jersey Town's calibre to British Columbia,” comments Road's End Farm owner Jack Bennett. “He should make a major contribution to the breeding industry in the Pacific Northwest.”

Added Werk Thoroughbred Consultants Inc's Sid Fernando, an advisor to Fipke, “Mr Fipke has foals by Jersey Town from some top mares still to come and will be supporting the horse in British Columbia as well, so Jersey Town represents a great opportunity for breeders to participate in a stallion with a lot of future upside.”
