The Irish Racehorse Retirement Fund (IRRF) will hold an online auction, featuring stallion nominations, golfing days at Rathsallagh and Moyvalley, a signed Healy Racing Grand National montage and tickets to the 2022 Irish National. The auction will end on Mar. 18. Nominations will be available in Flat stallion Kuroshio (Aus) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}), and National Hunt stallions Saintgodrel (Fr) (Saint Des Saints {Fr}) and Boscaccio (Ger) (Mount Nelson {GB}). IRRF secretary and amateur jockey, Heather Heffernan said, “We are delighted by the support that our partners and supporters have given us and are thrilled with the lots that we have on offer in the auction. These funds will assist horses making the transition from racing to a new discipline easier for both the animal and their new owners, as well as providing education courses on welfare and racehorse to riding horse aftercare.”
