A son of Into Mischief (Hip 848) was the quickest quarter-mile worker of the day at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company April Sale breeze show Friday, covering the distance in :20 3/5.

Bred by WinStar Farm, Hip 848 is consigned by Jaime Mejia's Thoroughbred Champions Training Center LLC, who purchased the colt for just $11,000 at Keeneland September. The bay is out of the Smart Strike mare Oh So Nice, a half-sister to SW Dynamic Cat (Dynaformer), who in turn produced GSW Dynamic Holiday (Harlan's Holiday); SW & MGSP Appealing Cat (Successful Appeal); and SW Cat's Holiday (Harlan's Holiday).

A Wildcat Heir colt (hip 200) still boasts the fastest quarter-mile breeze of the week after working in :20 2/5 Monday.

A quartet of juveniles shared the fastest furlong time of the day of :10 flat: Hip 809, a Midshipman filly (video); Hip 811, a son of Bodemeister out of Argentinian MGSW & MG1SP My Dear Lady (Arg) (Mutakddim) (video); Hip 868, a filly by Violence out of half-sister to MGSW Falling Sky (Lion Heart) (video); and Hip 968, a daughter of Awesome Again out of SW Rivertown Belle (Bellamy Road) (video).

The fastest furlong time of :9 3/5 was registered during Thursday's session by a Tiznow colt (Hip 793) and a More Than Ready filly (Hip 778).

The under-tack show concludes Saturday with a session beginning at 8 a.m. The April sale will be held next Tuesday through Friday.
