Cheyenne Stables' TAPELLA (Tapit&log=">Tapit), a $750,000 FTSAUG yearling in 2015, makes her debut for trainer Todd Pletcher. The gray filly is the first to race out of stakes winner Princess Arabella (Any Given Saturday). The mare was purchased by breeder Summer Wind Farm for $725,000 while in foal to Tapit at the 2013 Keeneland January sale. WinStar Farm's Covenant (Speightstown) set the pace before settling for second behind subsequent GSW & GISP Salty (Quality Road) in her Mar. 5 debut at Gulfstream Park. Out of Flaming Heart (Touch Gold), the sophomore is a half-sister to MGSW Commissioner (A.P. Indy). Coming out of that same Mar. 5 Gulfstream maiden race, Courtlandt Farms' Gifted Lady (Distorted Humor), a $725,000 KEESEP yearling, makes her third trip to the post for trainer Mark Hennig. TJCIS PPs
