Nominations for the Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Awards close Friday, Feb. 10. Encompassing 10 categories, the awards carry total prize money of €80,000. Nominations can be completed at www.studandstablestaffawards.ie. The awards ceremony will take place May 9 at Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny.
Chairman of the Irish Stablestaff Association, Bernard Caldwell, said, “With only a week to go to the nominations deadline, I would encourage everyone working in racing and breeding to nominate their friends and colleagues past and present. Some of the award categories have been amended to more accurately reflect the work of the nominees and to incorporate those working in the breeding sector, so it is worthwhile reading each of the award criteria carefully. Every nomination counts–a person only has to be nominated once to be considered.”
