Garswood to Cheveley Park

GARSWOOD TO CHEVELEY PARK
Group 1 winner Garswood (GB) (Dutch Art {GB}–Penchant {GB}, by Kyllachy {GB}) will retire to stand alongside his sire at Cheveley Park Stud in Newmarket, England in 2015. Trained by Richard Fahey, the 4-year-old recorded his most important victory to date last out in the G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville Aug. 10. He also won last year's G2 Lennox S., and was third in Longchamp's G1 Prix de la Foret, which he is likely to target again this year as his final career start. Garswood was also a listed-winning 2-year-old.
“We are delighted Dutch Art has had two Group 1 winners this year in Garswood and Slade Power, both of whom have been such emphatic winners at the highest level,” said Cheveley Park's Managing Director Chris Richardson. “Garswood, an impressive individual in every way, will retire to Cheveley Park Stud after his last intended race in the Prix de la Foret, bringing a further exciting element to our already strong portfolio of stallions available to British and international breeders alike.”
