Given time to strengthen by Andre Fabre since early summer, 'TDN Rising Star' Lady Frankel (GB) (Frankel {GB}) returns to attempt to live up to her early promise in Tuesday's G3 Prix de Lieurey at Deauville. Having beaten the subsequent G3 Prix de Psyche winner Vue Fantastique (Fr) (Motivator {GB}) with style at Saint-Cloud Mar. 19, Gestut Ammerland's homebred performed with credit when third in the G3 Prix de la Grotte at Chantilly Apr. 16 and sixth in the G1 Prix Saint-Alary over 10 furlongs here May 14 before disappointing when third as the favourite for Maisons-Laffitte's Listed Prix des Lilas that June 10. Fabre also saddles the Wertheimers's July 23 Listed Prix de Bagatelle scorer Esquisse (GB) (Dansili {GB}), while another 'TDN Rising Star' Monroe Bay (Ire) (Makfi {GB}) drops back to a mile after finishing runner-up in the nine-furlong G3 Prix Chloe at Chantilly July 9.
