Guineas hero Chaldean (GB)'s first foals have arrived, Juddmonte announced on X.
The first is a colt out of Group 3 heroine Paris Peacock (Ire) (Muhaarar {GB}), while Redressed (GB) (Le Havre {Ire}), group-placed herself and out of a full-sister to Group 1 winner Midday (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) also had a colt. The third new arrival is a colt out of Via Lazio (GB) (Lawman {Fr}), an unraced half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Admire Mars (Jpn) (Daiwa Major {Jpn}) and listed winners Via Firenze (Ire) (Dansili {GB}) and Via Pisa (Fr) (Pivotal {GB}).
Chaldean, who is standing his second season at a fee of £25,000 this year, covered 173 mares in 2024. A winner of both the G1 Dewhurst Stakes and G1 2000 Guineas, the chestnut son of Frankel also won the G2 Champagne Stakes and the G3 Acomb Stakes. At Royal Ascot in 2023, he was second in the G1 St James's Palace Stakes.
