The bay is a half to GI Alabama S. victress Eskimo Kisses (To Honor and Serve) and GISP Silver Ride (Candy Ride {Arg}). His second dam is Hall of Famer Winning Colors (Caro {Ire}). Pletcher also unveils Sempre Fi (Carpe Diem), purchased by WinStar and China Horse Club for $240,000 at OBS April after breezing in :10 1/5. The dark bay is out of SW Charlie Papa (Indian Charlie) and from the family of GISW Joyful Victory (Tapit). Tim Hamm saddles a well-bred first timer in Three Chimneys Farm and Blazing Meadow Farm's Mr. Burning Man (Bernardini). Graduating by 14 1/4 lengths against state-breds in his six-panel unveiling at Fair Grounds Dec. 15, earning a 90 Beyer Speed Figure, the bay dominated LA-breds again, this time by 13 1/4 lengths, next out over that track and trip in the mud Jan. 11.
