Drosselmeyer to Remain in Brazil

WinStar's GI Belmont S. and GI Breeders' Cup Classic winner Drosselmeyer (Distorted Humor–Golden Ballet, by Moscow Ballet) has been purchased by Stud TNT and will remain in Brazil to stand stud.

The 9-year-old had been shuttling to Stud TNT the last five Southern Hemisphere breeding seasons after standing at WinStar for each Northern Hemisphere breeding season. He is a leading sire from his stallion crop in Brazil, with his first 3-year-olds in 2016 led by the GSW and G1SP Enologo (Brz).

Winner of the 2010 Belmont and 2011 Breeders' Cup Classic, Drosselmeyer retired after that victory with a record of 16-5-52 and earnings of $3,728,170. He joined A.P. Indy and American Pharoah as the only three horses in history to win the Belmont S. and Breeders' Cup Classic and is also one of just eight horses to win a Triple Crown race and the BC Classic.
