Doyle Out With Fractured Hand

James Doyle | Racing Post

Godolphin retained jockey James Doyle, who was originally treated for minor injuries after his  mount Pearls (Aus) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}) fell in the G3 Robrick Lodge Triscay S. Monday, has sustained a non-displaced fracture of his right hand and will be off mounts indefinitely, Godolphin announced early Tuesday morning. A two-time Group 3 winner, Pearls was immediately transported to the Randwick Equine Centre for evaluation, but was diagnosed with multiple shoulder fractures and could not be saved.
