Darley has secured the breeding rights to Profitable (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}–Dani Ridge {Ire}, by Indian Ridge {GB}), who is among the favourites for Tuesday's G1 King's Stand S. at Royal Ascot. The 4-year-old, who has won the G3 Palace House S. and G2 Temple S. in his last two outings, will continue to race in the colours of owner Alan Spence and be trained by Clive Cox. Jockey Alan Kirby will continue to ride the horse.

“I'm delighted that Sheikh Mohammed has secured the rights to stand Profitable as a stallion in the future,” said Spence. “Profitable will continue to race for me in my colours, and I am pleased to say that Clive Cox and Adam Kirby, who have done such an amazing job in developing this colt's talent, will continue to train and ride him. We are now looking forward to the King's Stand on Tuesday, and all other major sprinting targets for the remainder of the season.”

Sam Bullard, Darley's Director of Stallions, added, “Profitable will be an exciting addition to our stallion ranks at the end of his racing career. He has an attractive pedigree and physically he is impressive and has presence.”
