Dads Caps (Discreet Cat–Seeking the Silver, by Grindstone), a two-time winner of the GI Carter H. at Aqueduct, has been retired to stud at Legacy Ranch. The Vincent Scuderi homebred, a half-brother to millionaire and Eclipse finalist Paulassilverlining (Ghostzapper), heads to the breeding shed with a record of 26-5-8-5 and earnings of $1,110,467. “We had a tremendous run with Dads Caps,” Scuderi said. “For four seasons he took on the best sprinters of his generation and his record is a testament to his consistency and heart. I'm excited about the potential he brings to his new career at stud.”
