Derrinstown Stud resident Awtaad (Ire) (Cape Cross {Ire}) has sired his first foal, the stud announced on Tuesday. Out of Street Style (Ire) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}), the colt arrived at Redpender Stud at 4 a.m. on Tuesday. Street Style is already the dam of G3 Diamond S. victor Panama Hat (GB) (Medicean {GB}). The G1 Irish 2000 Guineas scorer, who raced for Sheikh Hamden Al Maktoum, entered stud for €15,000 in 2017.
“I'm delighted with him,” said Redpender Stud's Jimmy Murphy. “He's a very good quality foal with lots of size and plenty of bone.”
