RRP Elects New Board Members and Officers

Richard Lamb has been elected the new board chair of the Retired Racehorse Project and Jodie Vella-Gregory has been elected the organization's new vice chair. The RRP also added new board members Dr. Shannon Reed and Sissy Wickes. Lamb, the former vice chair, has stepped into the leadership role to take the place of outgoing chair, Sue Smith. 482 Trainers Accepted to '22 Tbred Makeover

The Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) has accepted 482 trainers, including both individuals and team members, to the 2022 class of the Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, presented by Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA). The Makeover returns to its single-year format in 2022 after the postponement of the 2020 event led to a "double" Makeover in 2021, with two competition years running simultaneously. 480 Trainers Accepted to 2021 TB Makeover Class

Edited Press Release The Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) has welcomed 484 accepted applications, representing 480 unique trainers and teams, to the 2021 class of the Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium, presented by Thoroughbred Charities of America.
