Keeneland and TCA Team on Sales Initiative to Help Essential Workers

Keeneland and Thoroughbred Charities of America have launched an initiative to provide September Yearling and November Breeding Stock Sales buyers the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution to TCA to assist our industry's backstretch and farm workers. The voluntary donation will be included in the buyers invoice and equate to .05% of the hammer price of their purchase. TCA Extends Sponsorship of Tbred Makeover & National Symposium through ’21

Thoroughbred Charities of America has extended its support of the Retired Racehorse Project's Thoroughbred Makeover and National Symposium through 2021. RRP will host a "double Makeover" for both 2020 and 2021 entries at the Kentucky Horse Park Oct. 12-17, 2021. TCA To Host Fundraising Webinar

Thoroughbred Charities of America will host a webinar entitled "Fundraising in Challenging Times" Friday, Apr. 3 at 2 p.m. EST to aid nonprofit organizations amid the COVID-19 pandemic. TCA Horses First Fund Supporting Backstretch, Aftercare Organizations

Thoroughbred Charities of America's Horses First Fund is providing funding to backstretch and aftercare organizations working to support the Thoroughbred community amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Established in 2016 by LNJ Foxwoods, the Horses First Fund assists Thoroughbreds and their caretakers in need of emergency aid due to large scale neglect, natural disaster, or other catastrophe. The Backstretch Employee Service Team (BEST) will receive funding to support their on-site medical clinic at Belmont Park. Lane’s End Donates Four Select Seasons to TCA Auction

Lane's End Farm has donated seasons to Candy Ride (Arg), Quality Road, City of Light, and Union Rags to the auction offered at the Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) 'Tis the Seasons Celebration presented by LNJ Foxwoods. Now in its 30th year, the celebration will be held at Distillery Square in Lexington, Ky., Sunday, Jan. 12, at 5:30 p.m. The Lane's End stallion seasons are no guarantee.
