Racehorse owner Dr Johnny Hon, who operates Global Group Racing, has donated £100,000 to Racing Welfare to fund the Housing Support Officer role for the next three years. Great Racing Welfare Cycle Challenge Raises £100K

Notable racing charity Racing Welfare received a financial boost during the past week as cyclists and runners earned in excess of £100,000 through donations for The Great Racing Welfare Cycle Challenge and in part from participants in the Vitality Big Half Marathon. The 4Racing Owners Club presented a cheque to Racing Welfare for £5,000 on July 4, Racing Welfare announced on Thursday. Henry Cecil Open Weekend to Host Visitors in September

The Henry Cecil Open Weekend, slated for Sept. 18-19 this year, will welcome visitors back to Newmarket for the first time since 2019. Racing Welfare in conjunction with Great British Racing (GBR), the Tote and Sky Sports Racing, have launched the 2021 edition of the pop idol competition, Furlong Factor.
