Plusvital will sponsor the Plusvital Leopardstown Summer Series Training Championship, the racecourse announced on Thursday. The contest will run from Thursday, June 8 to Thursday, Aug. 24. Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship Announced

The Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship, which will run from June 3-Aug. 12, was announced by Leopardstown Racecourse on Wednesday. Each trainer will receive points for their wins at the meetings, with the overall winner receiving €3,000 of Plusvital nutritional supplement or genetic testing products on the final day of the series. Irish equine nutrition company Plusvital will support Naas's 2021 flat season, which kicks off on Mar. 28, with sponsorship of the Listed Plusvital Devoy S. New Research Reveals Increase in Inbreeding in T'Bred Population

Inbreeding in the Thoroughbred has increased significantly in the last 45 years according to a research paper published in Scientific Reports, the Racing Post reported on Saturday. Professor Emmeline Hill, a co-author on the report, spearheaded the research conducted by University College Dublin and equine science company Plusvital.
