Boudot Banned Six More Months

French champion jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot has had a three-month ban by France Galop stewards extended a further six months as he faces rape charges. Boudot, 28, was charged on May 12 for the Feb. 27 rape of a 25-year-old female work rider in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Also implicated is fellow jockey Pierre Bazire, who was charged in May with failing to prevent and report a crime. Bazire's suspension has likewise been extended six more months. French champion jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot, who was on Monday arrested in Chantilly and on Wednesday charged with the rape of a work rider in February, has been suspended from race riding for three months by France Galop stewards. Also suspended is jockey Pierre Bazire, who was charged with failing to prevent and report a crime. Boudot has been released on bail of €50,000 and placed under judicial supervision. Pierre-Charles Boudot Indicted On Rape Charge 

Pierre-Charles Boudot, who was arrested on Monday in Chantilly along with fellow jockey Pierre Bazire, has been charged with the rape of a work rider in February. The French champion jockey was released on bail of €50,000 on Wednesday and placed under judicial supervision.  Bazire is also under supervision and has been charged with failing to prevent and report a crime. French Jockeys Arrested Following Rape Claim

France's champion jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot and weighing-room colleague Pierre Bazire were arrested on Monday in Chantilly following an allegation of rape, according to reports in the French media.
