Expanded Viewing for Golden Gate Owners

Owners were previously limited to attend Golden Gate Fields on Sunday mornings for workouts, but may now attend morning workouts any day. They must check in at the main horsemen's gate, provide their CHRB owners license, and undergo a COVID-19 health screening. Owners May Attend Races at Del Mar

Starting Friday July 31, licensed owners with a horse entered may attend the races at Del Mar. Space is limited to two licensed owners per horse. No guests are permitted. Up until now, licensed owners have only been allowed on track in the morning to watch workouts. The first come, first serve seating in the afternoons will be located in the same area in the clubhouse box seating. NYSGC Allows Owners to Watch Racing and Training at Saratoga

The New York State Gaming Commission announced Wednesday that licensed owners will be permitted to watch their horses train and race at New York tracks. The ban on spectators for the racing programs remains in effect. The change in policy for owners was made the day before the start of the Thoroughbred racing season at Saratoga Race Course. According to the commission's news release, once the overnight list of entries is published, licensed owners must make reservations in advance with the racing office to attend a race. Santa Anita to Fund Loyalty Bonus Program

Santa Anita Park has announced a new program to reward the owners of horses who have supported the current race meeting with a Loyalty Bonus to horses who have raced from Dec. 28 through Feb. 29. From Mar. 6 through the end of the season June 21, all eligible horses will receive an additional 10% bonus in their first start during that period (paid on first through fifth place earnings).
