Jockey Coaching Programme Launched By Equuip

A jockey coaching programme that will see five qualified jockey coaches provide mentoring and specialised skills coaching across a range of subject areas to support and enhance the career development of all licensed jockeys in Ireland was launched by Horse Racing Ireland (HRI)'s equuip on Thursday. Carberry Wins Ireland's Dancing With The Stars

Former amateur jockey Nina Carberry won Ireland's Dancing With The Stars competition on Sunday night. A winner of the Irish Grand National with Organisedconfusion (Ire) (Laveron {GB}) in 2011, Carberry partnered with Pasquale La Rocca, who was winning the RTE programme for a second consecutive season. A 3-year-old filly by the late Champs Elysees (GB) brought a sale-topping €50,000 from Jeremiah McGrath during Thursday's Tattersalls Ireland August NH Sale.
