Enable Exits September in Good Form, Arc Next

Saturday's G3 September S. heroine Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}), who has won two editions of the G1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and is pointing toward her fourth-straight appearance in the ParisLongchamp showpiece, is fit and well following her performance at Kempton. The 6-year-old bay has won 15 of her 18 starts for her breeder Juddmonte, and polished off her five rivals by seven lengths in the all-weather Group 3 over the Arc trip of 1 1/2 miles. After running second in last year's Arc, Enable also filled that...

Enable on Course for Kempton

Dual G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe heroine Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}) is pleasing connections ahead of a start in the G3 September S. over the Kempton synthetic on Sept. 5. The 6-year-old Juddmonte silksbearer took the 2018 September S. in advance of her second Arc crown. Second in that ParisLongchamp showpiece in 2019, the John Gosden trainee was also runner-up in the G1 Coral-Eclipse S. to Godolphin's Ghaiyyath (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) this July, but was back in top form in the G1 King George Vi & Queen Elizabeth S....

Siskin's Next Start Up in the Air

Classic hero Siskin (First Defence), who lost his unbeaten tag with a third in last week's G1 Qatar Sussex S., has emerged from that effort well, but his connections are not sure where he will start next. The bay was unbeaten in four runs as a juvenile, including the G1 Keeneland Phoenix S. and G2 GAIN...

Enable Exits Eclipse Defeat Well

John Gosden is looking forward to the rest of the campaign with Enable (GB) (Nathaniel {Ire}) despite the mare suffering the third defeat of her career on her seasonal bow in Sunday's Coral-Eclipse at Sandown. A third G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe win remains her ultimate target in the autumn and she satisfied her trainer when second to Charlie Appleby's Ghaiyyath (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) over a trip short of her optimum. However, Gosden believes Enable could face a tricky task at ParisLongchamp in October should G1 QIPCO 1000 Guineas...

Logician Returns to Gosden After Recovering From Peritonitis

Undefeated 2019 G1 St Leger hero Logician (GB) (Frankel {GB}), who races in the Juddmonte colours of Prince Khalid Abdullah, has returned to the John Gosden yard after being treated for peritonitis, Racing Post reported on Thursday. Also a winner of the G2 Great Voltigeur S. in August, the grey 4-year-old's return to the races will be a bit delayed, but he is likely to appear by early summer. "Logician was successfully treated for peritonitis which can be a serious condition," said Prince Khalid Abdullah's racing manager Lord Teddy Grimthorpe....
