Frankie Dettori To Ride At Listowel

There will be an added attraction to the Listowel Harvest Festival this year with racecourse chairman Pat Healy revealing that Frankie Dettori will ride at the meeting.  Dettori, who rode at Killarney in 2019 and Tralee in 1998 before that racecourse was later closed, will be completing a Kerry treble next month and is due to ride on Tuesday, September 20.  The seven-day Listowel Harvest Festival runs from Sunday, September 18 to Saturday, September 24 and Healy announced news of the coup on Wednesday. Crowd Capacity Increased at Irish Racecourses From Sept. 6

Irish racecourses can host up to 50% of their outdoor capacity beginning on Sept. 6 following the Irish Government's latest COVID-19 response roadmap, Horse Racing Ireland announced on Thursday. Racecourses may also utilise 60% of their indoor capacity for hospitality purposes should attendees consume food and beverages indoors as long as they provide evidence of their Digital Covid Vaccine Cert (DCC). Warwick Welcomes Pilot Crowd

Warwick Racecourse welcomed a crowd of 500 annual members and hospitality guests for its jumps meeting on Monday. It was only the second time since racing resumed from a nine-week shutdown on June 1 that a crowd was permitted on a British racecourse-Doncaster had a week-long pilot project planned for its St Leger festival but that was shut down after just one card due to tightened government regulations.
