A memorial service for longtime racing analyst and handicapper Jeff Siegel will be held Monday, Oct. 13 at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley, the Santa Anita Park said in a Friday press release. The ceremony, which is open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. PST. The address for Mt. Sinai is 6150 Mount Sinai Drive, Simi Valley, CA 91063. Siegel passed away last Saturday from cancer after more than 50 years as one of the most respected voices in the Thoroughbred industry in Southern California.

Jeff Siegel has been named as the new Morning-Line Maker for Santa Anita, replacing Jon White who announced his retirement earlier this week.
