Osborne And O'Meara Horses Split Bahrain Turf Series Bonus

Two horses, trained by Jamie Osborne and David O'Meara respectively, have each won £25,000 after the end of the Bahrain Turf Series. The inaugural £550,000 10-race Bahrain Turf Series begins in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Dec. 10, and several UK trainers are sending runners to compete. Former Cheltenham Chairman Lord Vestey Dies

Former Cheltenham racecourse chairman Lord Vestey has died at the age of 79. Samuel Vestey, 3rd Baron Vestey, whose wife Celia, the sister of Gold Cup-winning trainer Henrietta Knight, died last year, aged 71, had a long association with the sport.
