Italian Oaks

Tattersalls will sponsor the 2023 running of the G2 Italian Oaks at Milan's San Siro racecourse, operated by Snaitech. The race will be staged on Sunday, June 11, and will carry a prize fund of €388,000.  As part of the sponsorship, Tattersalls will offer vouchers of 15,000gns and 7,500gns to the owners of the Classic winner and runner-up respectively to be spent at the 2023 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale or Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale, or at the 2024 Tattersalls Craven and Guineas Breeze Up Sales. Racing in Italy is set to resume on Monday, with purse levels maintained and with Classic action kicking off with the Italian Guineas', the G3 Premio Regina Elena and the G3 Premio Parioli, on June 14. The G2 Italian Oaks will be staged on July 5, and the G2 Italian Derby on July 12.
