Irish Trainers to Stage Open Mornings

Nineteen racing yards in Ireland will be opening their doors to the public during a series of open mornings between May and September. The initiative backed by Horse Racing Ireland Ownership will allow racing fans and those interested in racehorse ownership access to a range of stables across the country, including those of Tracey Collins and Michael Halford on the Curragh, John McConnell, Gordon Elliott and Ross O'Sullivan. The trainer open mornings are free to attend and follow last year's launch, which saw 17 trainers welcome more than 3,000 visitors....

Irish Training Yards Open to Public

In conjunction with racehorse trainers throughout Ireland, Horse Racing Ireland Ownership will offer racing fans and those interested in racehorse ownership the opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience a working training yard.  The trainer open mornings will run nationwide from July to October and are free to attend. So far, 20 trainers from 10 different counties are taking  part.
