The initial session of Irish EBF Barrier Trials gets underway July 5 at Dundalk Stadium. Beginning at 1p.m. (local time), a total of 10 Trials are scheduled, comprised of tests for unraced 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds over five-seven furlongs. Operated by Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM) and backed by Irish EBF and the IHRB, Trials are principally serve as formative trials for inexperienced horses. Entries are open for Irish EBF Barrier Trials at Dundalk Stadium, to be held Tuesday, July 5, beginning at noon (local time). Operated by Irish Thoroughbred Marketing (ITM) and backed by Irish EBF and the IHRB, Trials are open to unraced 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds and are run over five to seven furlongs. Irish EBF Barrier Trials To Resume At Dundalk

The Irish EBF Barrier Trials will return to Dundalk Stadium on July 5 and Aug. 30, Horse Racing Ireland announced. They will be restricted to unraced 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds over distances of five furlongs, six furlongs, and seven furlongs, with horses named, returned to training and with a stalls certificate. Irish Thoroughbred Marketing has conducted the trials with the cooperation of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board and the Irish European Breeders' Fund since 2018. Fields Out For Irish EBF Barrier Trials

Fields for the Aug. 18 Irish EBF Barrier Trials at Dundalk Stadium are now available here. Wednesday's barrier trials, scheduled to begin at noon, will be run over five, six or seven furlongs and are open to unraced 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds.
