Three Peaks Challenge Raises More Than £50,000

Racing Welfare's annual Three Peaks Challenge, held on Saturday, July 8, raised more than £50,000 for racing's people, the charity organization announced on Tuesday. Sponsored by Tote and Tattersalls, nearly 100 people participated in the challenge in wet weather conditions to scale the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent in under 12 hours. Over 100 people from across the UK racing industry will participate in the charity hike the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday, July 8, Racing Welfare announced on Thursday. Participants will hike 25 miles and climb over 1500 metres as they traverse Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside in Yorkshire in just 12 hours. Racing Welfare's all-new mass participation fundraising event for 2023--the Racing Welfare Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge--is just shy of 100 participants and registration for the 12-hour challenge closes May 31. Racing Welfare Three Peaks Challenge Announced

The Racing Welfare Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, an all-new mass participation fundraising event for 2023, was announced by the charity on Friday. Set for Saturday, July 8, the Large Outdoors-led contest is a 12-hour challenge that is 25 miles long and includes over 1,500 metres of ascent of Yorkshire peaks Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent, and Whernside.
