2022 IFAR Speakers and Agenda Announced

The speakers and agenda were announced for the sixth annual International Forum for the Aftercare of Racehorses (IFAR) on Thursday. "Many Paths-One Goal" is the conference theme and IFAR will be divided into two virtual webinars on Apr. 5 and 19. Each webinar will begin at 12 p.m. BST (11 a.m. GMT), and lasting for approximately two hours. Virtual IFHA Conference Looks to Future of Racing

The 2021 International Conference of Horseracing Authorities, organised by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA), will be held virtually for the second year in a row on Oct. 4. This year's focus will be on global racing's evolution and future challenges, with the conference digitally released on Oct. 7. New IFHA Chair Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges will give the keynote speech, as well as several panel discussions. Jockey Club Sponsors ROR Championships

The Retraining of Racehorses National Championships will return in 2021 with The Jockey Club as a new three-year sponsor. The Jockey Club ROR National Championships will be held from Aug. 26 to 29 at Aintree Equestrian Centre featuring classes for showing, dressage and jumping, with The Jockey Club Supreme Champion to be crowned on the Saturday evening. Entries for the Championships are open and will remain so until Aug. 1. The last staging of the event in 2019 drew a total of 940 entries from over 326 individual retrained racehorses....

Virtual IFAR Series Planned For April

The International Forum for the Aftercare of Racehorses (IFAR) will host its fifth forum as a virtual series on each Tuesday during the month of April. The sessions, which will include a combination of prerecorded content and live discussions, will be held Apr. 6, 13, 20, and 27 at 12 p.m. GMT and will each last approximately one hour. Recordings of the events will also be made available on the IFAR website.
