Dettori Memorabilia Auction Led By Signed Oaks Trophy

The online sale of 126 racing items from jockey Frankie Dettori's private collection--offered by Cheffins in Cambridge from July 5 through July 18--was highlighted by a trophy from his victory aboard Soul Sister in last month's Betfred Oaks. Likely his final career Classic victory, the signed trophy brought £5,000 from an undisclosed U.K. buyer. Keeneland November Gets Underway

LEXINGTON, KY--The industry action moves back to Keeneland Monday, just two days after the Lexington oval hosted the Breeders' Cup, for the 10-day Keeneland November Sale, which runs through Nov. 16. The auction opens at 1 p.m. Monday with a single session Book 1, containing 240 head.
