For the fourth consecutive year, Au-Dela Des Pistes hosted its fundraiser 'Arc Promise' during the weekend of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Supported by France Galop, the fundraising effort drew almost €45,000 in donations for Au-Delà Des Pistes, which finances the convalescence and retraining of retired racehorses, while seeking to promote the versatility of the Thoroughbred. The Arc Promise, a new fundraising initiative based on the "Breeders' Cup Pledge, was launched by Au-Dela des Pistes ahead of Arc weeekend. After the results were tabulated, over €60,000 was raised by the connections of every runner that opted to donate a fraction of their earnings in the event of a win or place by their horse(s). Au-Dela Des Pistes To Benefit On Arc Weekend

Au-dela des Pistes, France's re-training and re-homing organization, will benefit from a pair of initiatives on Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe weekend Oct. 3 and 4. Modeled after the Breeders' Cup Pledge, owners, trainers, breeders and jockeys associated with runners on Arc weekend can opt to donate a percentage of their earnings over the two days to the charity. Additionally, all ticket sales for the Sunday program will be donated to Au-dela des Pistes. The crowd is limited to 5,000 racing professionals and their guests.

High Heels Racing Syndicate Makes Donation to Au-Dela des Pistes

High Heels Racing Syndicate, which closed its books after earning over €40,000 with 53% top-three finishes from 71 races, will donate its remaining funds of €3,000 to Au-Dela des Pistes. The 2019 General Assembly of Au-Dela des Pistes, the equine charity that works for the promotion and retaining of Thoroughbred horses in France, was held at the Salon Katko at Chantilly's training centre last Friday, Au-Dela des Pistes announced on Tuesday.
