Five races for stable staff are part of the new format of Racing Staff Week from June 24-July 1, Racing Welfare announced on Tuesday. TAA Accreditation Application for 2022 Now Available

The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) accreditation application for 2022 is now available. Thoroughbred aftercare non-profits, including those accredited for 2021 that want to remain accredited, must complete the application by Apr. 1 to seek accreditation for the coming year. Accreditation status with TAA is determined after a complete review of five areas of an aftercare organization: operations, education, horse health care management, facility standards and services, and adoption policies and protocols. Applications Open for TJC's Scholarships

Applications are now open for The Jockey Club (TJC)'s five academic scholarships, which apply to the 2022-23 academic year. Applications close Feb. 1, 2022, with recipients to be announced in the spring. The five available scholarships are as follows: The Jockey Club Scholarship ($15,000; $7,500 per semester): available for students in academic pursuit of majors for future employment in the equine industry. T.I.P Non-Competition Award Applications Now Open

Applications for The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program's (T.I.P.'s) two annual awards, the Thoroughbred of the Year Award and the Young Rider of the Year Award, are now available online at tjctip.com. Applications are due June 30, 2020. The T.I.P. Thoroughbred of the Year Award recognizes a Thoroughbred that has excelled in a non-competitive career, such as equine-assisted therapy or police work.
