The finalists for the 2026 Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards, sponsored by Godolphin, were revealed on Wednesday. The finalists will head to Ascot Racecourse for the ceremony, hosted by ITV Racing's Ed Chamberlin on February 23 after a final round of judging earlier in the day. Breeders' Cup Hero Magnum Force Retired To Ballyhane Stud

Breeders' Cup victor Magnum Force has been retired and will stand at Ballyhane Stud in Ireland from next year. A fee for the Grade I-winning son of Mehmas will be announced later. The Ger Lyons trainee won at second asking at Cork, before running second in the Listed Julia Graves Roses Stakes at York last August. Pouliches Second Shes Perfect To Be Rested, Will Return In 2026

Shes Perfect, demoted to second in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches earlier this season, has not completely healed from her July setback and will be rested the remainder of the year, according to Basher Watts who heads her ownership syndicate. The daughter of Sioux Nation, a debut winner at Haydock in two starts last term, was second in April's G3 Prix de la Grotte to Zarigana (Siyouni), who benefitted from Shes Perfect's disqualification in the Pouliches.
