Finding his feet in rear before cruising into contention at halfway, the homebred bay challenged full of run passing the quarter-mile marker and required little encouragement on the climb to easily account for Perkunas (Ire) (Baltic King {GB}) by an impressive 3 1/2 lengths. He is a half-brother to Etched (Forestry), MGSW-US, $587,586; and Out of Bounds (Discreet Cat), GSW-US & GSP-UAE, $177,665. Unbridled Elaine, winner of the 2001 GI Breeders’ Cup Distaff, is a half-sister to Grade I winner Glitter Woman (Glitterman), in turn the dam of GISW Political Force (Unbridled’s Song).Â
