CRAIG BANDOROFF, DENALI STUD: Sheikh Mohammed
He has made so many contributions to our industry that everyone is familiar with and we are all better off because of him. His contributions include: the jobs he provides, the land he has preserved and the capital he has spent buying horses. But the two things I admire most are his passion for the horse and for education. He leads by example and as the ruler of a country in a turbulent part of the world where many suffer, he believes in educating his people. His sponsorship of the Flying Start program may be his most important contribution and gift to our industry. I have seen the results of this program up close and personal. It is truly amazing in every way. Sheikh Mohammed can never be replaced. We just need to be grateful he appeared.
