Likely favourite Venetian Sun (Starman) will encounter 10 rivals in Saturday's G1 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai July Cup after declarations for Newmarket's £800,000 feature were confirmed Thursday morning.
The Karl Burke-trained G1 Commonwealth Cup heroine has drawn stall nine and is reopposed by Commonwealth Cup third Division (Kingman), who will exit stall one.
The latter's William Haggas stablemate Almeraq (Dark Angel) finished a nose in front of Satono Reve (Lord Kanaloa) in G1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, with the duo allocated stalls four and eight in this rematch.
Completing the set of Royal Ascot Group 1 sprint winners on parade, Ballydoyle's G1 King Charles III Stakes hero Mission Central (No Nay Never) will bid to provide Aidan O'Brien with a record sixth edition of the six-furlong charge from stall seven.
Other contenders of note in a mouthwatering renewal include Ace Stud's progressive Wokingham Handicap victor Double Rush (Blue Point), Jubilee seventh Comanche Brave (Wootton Bassett), King Charles III eighth Big Mojo (Mohaather) and Commonwealth Cup eighth Coppull (Bated Breath). They have drawn stalls 11, 10, two and six, respectively.
Last year's G1 British Champions Sprint third Quinault (Oasis Dream), drawn three, and fellow outsider Prince Of India (Wootton Bassett), drawn five, complete the line-up.
Powerful Glory (Cotai Glory) and Flora Of Bermuda (Dark Angel) were the only overnight defections.
