Showing a solid series of breezes, including a five-furlong gate move in 1:00 4/5 Oct. 24 at Belmont, the $110,000 KEESEP buy was off at 23-1 and settled in last down the backside as a contested pace of :23.92 and :48.44 developed up front. Kicking it into gear rallying three to four wide on the latter half of the turn, the bay swept to the fore passing the eighth pole and drew clear nicely from there to graduate by four lengths. An objection was lodged against the winner, but was disallowed.
