Peaceful (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) became distressed in the stalls facing a seven-furlong test at Leopardstown in her Aug. 15 introduction, shaping with a degree of promise when running on to finish just under four lengths off the winner in ninth. Having skipped a subsequent engagement at Dundalk, she was sent off as the odds-on favourite for Thursday's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Thurles and built upon that earlier experience with an impressive trouncing of overmatched rivals tackling the Co. Tipperary venue's one-mile strip. The January-foaled homebred was sharply into stride and raced in the vanguard throughout. Gaining a narrow advantage into the straight, the 8-11 pick was shaken up soon after passing the quarter-mile marker and powered ever clear under mild urging in the closing stages to easily dismiss Indian Lilac (Ire) (Excelebration {Ire}) by seven lengths.

"She is still very raw," admitted winning rider Donnacha O'Brien. "She was spooking and looking at all sorts of things, but she quickened up really nice once I gave her a drive and a crack. She could be smart."

Peaceful becomes the fourth winner from as many runners produced by dual stakes-winning G1 Prix d'Astarte runner-up Missvinski (Stravinsky), whose leading performer to date is MGSP Listed Hurry Harriet S. victress Easter (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}). She is also full-sister to a yearling filly and hails from a family featuring GI Turf Classic H.-winning sire Cacoethes (Alydar), GI Santa Susana S. heroine Fabulous Notion (Somethingfabulous) and the latter's GI Test S.-winning daughter Fabulously Fast (Deputy Minister).
