A $330,000 KEEAPR two-year-old in training purchase, Hot Attraction was bet down to even-money favoritism for her Nov. 21 debut over track and trip and ran on nicely late to finish second, beaten just one length. The 3-10 chalk to go one better in her juvenile finale, the bay filly stalked the pace from third, gained on the turn, got through along the inside turning for home and drew off under her own courage to defeat Keystone Malibu (Malibu Moon) by a convincing 7 1/2 lengths.
