Nudged along with 500 meters to go, the homebred grey exhibited rawness when grasping for ground inside the final quarter mile and looked set to be marked down as a work-in-progress. However, she loomed large in fourth when finding her balance entering the final eighth and, despite first-day tribulations, quickened impressively in the closing stages to easily outmatch Redcold (Fr) (Nayef) by a taking 3/4-of-a-length.
