There were 11 defectors from an overnight entry of 19 and a field of eight will line up for Saturday's £215,500 G1 William Hill Futurity Trophy at Doncaster, Britain's final Group 1 event of the year, after final declarations were confirmed Thursday morning.

Aidan O'Brien last won in 2022 with Auguste Rodin (Ire) (Deep Impact {Jpn}) and he is in the mix for a record-extending 12th success in the one-mile contest. O'Brien has trimmed his team from six down to one and relies solely on G3 Autumn Stakes and 'TDN Rising Star' Delacroix (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}).

Last year's winning combination of Godolphin, Charlie Appleby and William Buick will join forces with the hitherto undefeated Anno Domini (GB) (New Bay {GB}) while Team Gosden, yet to win this prestigious heat, will send out Juddmonte's similarly unbeaten dual Kempton winner Detain (Ire) (Wootton Bassett (GB}).

Group-winning entries also include G2 Beresford Stakes winner Hotazhell (GB) (Too Darn Hot {GB}) and G2 Royal Lodge Stakes victor Wimbledon Hawkeye (GB) (Kameko). The list of nominees is completed by Royal Lodge second Royal Playwright (GB) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), Detain's stablemate and 'TDN Rising Star' Nebras (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), who was supplemented for a fee of £17,500 earlier this week, and Newmarket maiden scorer Seaplane (GB) (Golden Horn {GB}).
