The Jockey Club has awarded five academic scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. Lauren Maas was selected to receive The Jockey Club Scholarship ($7,500 per semester), which is awarded to a student on an academic path toward employment in the equine industry. The Jockey Club has announced the recipients of five scholarships to be awarded for the 2023-2024 academic year. Megan Elcombe has been selected to receive The Jockey Club Scholarship, which provides $15,000 to a student who is pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at any university and has demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the Thoroughbred industry.
